How often do you hear the phrase that Myspace is dead? Pretty often I suppose, especially looking at the visitor trends. But MySpace Music is planning to come back with a bang. The UK relaunch of Myspace Music was done by guys at BBH London. They have created smart and engaging work, a series of interactive films that reinforce the core MySpace offer of music community. Visitors can create a playlist of videos and watch the artists take turns to make a personal dedication. Artists that are featured on the www.myspace.com/getrealclose include Guetta, Furtado and Fifty among others.
I don’t know if this will be a Myspace’s big comeback, only time and data will tell but for now it’s a brilliant piece that celebrates collaboration and the love of music.
