The future is unknown

Tiger Woods has been in the news a lot lately from Advertising Age to Entertainment Tonight . Tiger Woods is aligned with the best brands in the world including Nike, TAG and Gillette. What is happening to Tiger is what has happened to many brands who thought they are/were invincible (Martha Stewart, Exxon, American Red Cross, Barry Bonds etc. ). This is again a classic case of unpredictability and uncertainty. Life happens and it is impossible to predict the future. Your Brand may be on top of the world one day and fighting a PR nightmare the next. The best advice for a brand facing a nightmare is to come out and tell the truth, take steps to correct the problem and then go into hiding.

The strategy is to come clean with it or the speculation will continue. The Tiger Wood's Brand can be fixed, you know how we all love comebacks!
