Hunch is here!

I recently signed to get an invitation for a new website called Hunch. The website is a good cross between Google and Kaboodle, the former being a search engine and the latter being a shopping recommendation website. I think it is a clever idea. Instead of getting targeted ads by Google or Facebook which are based on search engine queries, people can actually tell someone what they want/like/love and thus can get recommendations for products, Ideas and brands. This website is creating further transparency and making the dialogue between brands and consumers more open.
Consumers want to take ownership of their preferences and brands, commenting, rejecting, and recommending them. The profiling questions on the website range from gay rights to drinking patterns to being a PC or a MAC. It’s a good way for marketers in 'knowing thy customers' and 'knowing thy brands'.
The founder of the website previously created world’s favourite photo sharing website, Flickr. The website is going public on the 15th of June but for now they are sending out invitations.
